Quick and Simple Boy’s/Men’s Cleanup

Hey, hey! I got a lot of requests for a video tutorial about cleaning up our young boys or men in the house during this global pandemic while our hair salons are forced to stay closed. I did my best, recorded myself and demonstrated how I do a simple clean-up haircut to keep a style looking fresh.

You will need a few things that I didn’t mention in the video. First, find an area in your home that has hard floors for easy cleaning after the haircut. Next, a barstool or chair with a low back is ideal to have no obstructions, or you can sit and have your son stand in front of you, or if they are tall, you stand and have your man stand in front of you. Then, you need a covering cape, you can use an old sheet, or bath/beach towel and drape it over their shoulders to protect them from little hairs. Alternatively, you can just have them take their shirts off and do the haircut with no cape or cover. I’ve had to do that when I forget to bring a cape home. Lastly, I would recommend that your “client” have clean fresh hair, not bed head or hat hair marks.
